Places, places... where to play?
For the short time i have been kayaking, with a 9 footer and a 13 ' I have found alot of places for impromptu paddling.
A great one to do in a day or less is seagrave to goreskis landing on lake scugog, paddling down the lazy nonquon. Stop in for lunch at Goreskis, then head south to Port perry.
this is about 15 km one way.
One could also get a loving wife to drop you off in seagrave and meet you in Port.(mention the fine shopping there.)
Bowmanville Oshawa and port Hope also have some fine coastal kayaking on lake Ontario,
